February half term activities

It's only four weeks to half term, so I've been busy putting the programme together for activities. This time we will be making a whole days worth of healthy meals - pancakes and fruit for breakfast, rainbow salads for lunch and meatballs and spaghetti for dinner. Children will need to bring 2 plastic containers to bring their food home.
Sessions are from 10am to 1pm, for ages 7 to 14 years, cost £15 per child or FREE with Me Too vouchers. There is a maximum of 20 children for each session.

Monday 21st February at Lady Lumley's School in Pickering
Tuesday 22nd February at Raincliffe School, Scarborough
Wednesday 23rd February at Raincliffe School, Scarborough (a repeat of the session on 22nd)
Thursday 24th February at Eskdale School, Whitby

New Year and new sessions

Thank you to all those children that came to the Christmas cookery sessions in Scarborough and Ryedale, I hope that you enjoyed eating your muffins and sausage rolls, many didn't even make it out of the activity before they were devoured.

I am planning sessions for the February half term holiday and will post dates as soon as they are confirmed, I hope to run a session in Whitby too this time.

I am doing some work with Norton Children's Centre during January and February, called Teeny Tasters, working with parents and young children together, for more information contact Norton Children's Centre direct on 0845 0349586.

Cookery sessions in the Christmas holidays

Only a week before the children are off school for their Christmas break and parents have so many things still to do to get ready for the festivities. So I have 3 sessions running in the Christmas holidays making festive food.
All the sessions are for children aged 8 to 14 years, 9am to 12noon and cost £15, FREE to children with Me Too vouchers.
We will be making Christmas muffins, sausage rolls and making some icing and marzipan festive figures.

Christmas cookery activities for children

I'm running three activities in Scarborough on the next 3 Saturdays for children to make some Christmas food gifts while their parents get some time in the shops without them. All the sessions run from 9.30 to 12 noon.

4th December at Falsgrave Community Centre, Seamer Road, Scarborough
11th December at Oasis Family Centre, Castle Road, Scarborough
18th December at Oasis Family Centre, Castle Road, Scarborough

Children will be making Christmas icing and marzipan figures, rocky road sweets and decorating Christmas cookies.

The session costs £10 per child but I am registered to accept the NYCC Me Too vouchers, so children with these come to the session FREE.
